Missouri law (RSMo Ch. 140): Each county Collector holds an annual Certificate of Purchase sale (statutory default: fourth Monday in August); 1-year general redemption at 10% per annum. Some counties (e.g. Jackson County) use a separate judicial foreclosure process under Ch. 141 instead.
